BOSTON, Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SHIFT Communications, an award-winning integrated communications agency, has announced that its San Francisco office recently added three new B2B technology clients: Appirio, Demandbase and WANdisco. These wins bolster the office's B2B client roster which already includes rising brands like FinancialForce.com, Tintri and Webroot.
Additionally, the Agency brought seasoned technology PR executive Leslie Clavin on board to expand the B2B technology practice. Clavin has more than 15 years of experience in enterprise technology including work in software, security, e-commerce, mobile and telecommunications.
Over the years, SHIFT has established its reputation in the B2B space and beyond with a unique data-driven approach to public relations that sets it apart within the industry and makes it attractive to company leaders looking for a decidedly innovative approach in an agency partner. SHIFT teams with these companies to craft client campaigns that are not only innovative, but also impactful given the research and analytics expertise of its marketing technology team and the vision of its creative services team.
The Agency's three most recent client partners represent various growing sectors in the B2B technology market. Appirio is a leading global cloud and crowdsourcing services provider that helps customers innovate and win in the new cloud economy. Appirio was a SHIFT client for four years, before returning in spring of 2015.
"Appirio is thrilled to be working with SHIFT again," said Michelle Swan, Appirio's Vice President of Customer Experience and Corporate Marketing. "The agency's creativity and ability to convey a complex story in a compelling way has produced real results for our brand time and time again. As Appirio continues to grow its existing cloud business and transition into new emerging markets like enterprise crowdsourcing, SHIFT has proven they're the right partner for us - no matter what stage of the journey we're in."
Demandbase is the leader in account-based marketing, enabling B2B companies to identify and target the accounts they value most, and then market to them across the entire funnel. WANdisco's patented active-active data replication technology serves crucial high-availability requirements, including Hadoop Big Data and Application Lifecycle Management.
As the Agency looks to accelerate the expansion of its B2B technology practice, Clavin will be tasked with bringing in several new accounts in the second half of the year. Her experience in leading and managing strategic programs designed to accomplish defined communications and business objectives coupled with her strong media relationships in the business and trade press make her well-suited for this role.
Prior to joining SHIFT, Leslie served as strategic advisor to enterprise B2B companies large and small at marketing communications and public relations consultancies Grayling, Racepoint Global, Bite Communications and Applied Communications. Leslie has a bachelor's degree in communications and journalism from California State University, Fullerton, and began her career in the greater Los Angeles area as a reporter and copy desk editor at publications including the L.A. Daily News.
"Since relocating to San Francisco two years ago, I've been committed to growing SHIFT's footprint in the Bay Area," said SHIFT CEO Todd Defren. "The inventiveness, creativity and chutzpah found here are unmatched anywhere in the world, and I am proud to say that we are in the thick of the action. With great new clients like Appirio and Demandbase, and superb new executives with which to build up new teams, I am bullish on our current growth and future prospects."
