Shift Announces Program for Essential Workers
Offers special pricing for the community
SAN FRANCISCO, April 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to support our community members during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, online car marketplace Shift has created two temporary programs to help those who need it to obtain safe, reliable transportation for less.
Shift's Essential Workers Program will provide special discounts on vehicles for certain essential workers including medical professionals, utilities operators and grocery store staff in need of personal transportation.
In addition to that program, Shift has introduced the Community Pricing Initiative to temporarily lower prices on a broad range of inventory to help the larger community which has been affected by this crisis afford reliable and safe transportation.

As an ecommerce business, Shift will continue to offer no-contact test drives, no-contact seller evaluations, as well as direct online purchasing options. We will additionally waive all shipping fees for vehicles purchased online. All of these services will continue to be delivered to the customer's home and will follow antimicrobial disinfecting procedures in accordance with public health guidance.
