Shield Healthcare Announces Caregiver Story Contest Winners
VALENCIA, Calif., March 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Shield Healthcare, a leading provider of medical supplies for care at home, is pleased to announce its 10th annual "What Makes Caregiving Rewarding?" story contest winners. Congratulations to the grand prize winners: Sara Thomas of San Ramon, CA, Julie Farwell of Denver, CO, Christine Adams of Fresno, CA, and the 5 runners-up, Jacqueline White of Fontana, CA, Rachel Hitlin of Grover Beach, CA, Diana Fedorak of Glen Ellyn, IL, Kay Lynn Carnes of San Antonio, TX, and Argelia Servantez of San Angelo, TX. Out of 175 stories received, the top winners were selected by celebrity contest judge, Sandra Mitchell, CBS 2/KCAL 9 News Anchor. Due to the large amount of inspirational stories received, three additional runners-up were chosen this year.
The top three story winners received $1,000 in American Express Gift Checks and a 1-year subscription to Today's Caregiver Magazine. The five runners-up received $250 in American Express Gift Checks and the magazine subscription.
