Established in 1948, KCCHSD is a nineteen bed critical access hospital with a swing bed unit, acute care level, and obstetrics department as well as a 24-hour emergency room classified as a trauma level IV facility.

In her current position, Sheryl's areas of expertise include client relations, communications, compliance, inventory management, implementation, strategic planning, motivational leadership, quality control, staffing and team building.

A member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, she enjoys movies and bible study in her time outside of work.

Sheryl graduated from Mount Mary College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.
