Sherwood Lumber To Showcase Eco Red Shield™ At The NRLA Expo In Boston
Terry Bradshaw to Present "Why Not Your Best?" While the Lumber Industry Finds the best Eco Interior Advanced Framing Lumber the Industry has to Offer at Sherwood Lumber's Booth
VISTA, Calif., Feb. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco Building Products, Inc., (PINK: ECOB) announced today that Sherwood Lumber, a national leader, innovator and solution provider to the Lumber and Building Materials Industries, will be showcasing Eco Red Shield lumber protection at the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA) Expo this week in Boston http://www.nrla.org/. Sherwood Lumber and Eco Building Products, Inc. are now working together in the Northeast, with ECOB's New Jersey facility recently activating a third shift to keep up with the increasing pace of demand http://youtu.be/Uk0LxeqLqIA. In response to the demand for Eco Red Shield, the Company is making plans to add automated production equipment at ECOB's core facilities in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.
This Eco/Sherwood relationship will enable Sherwood to stock and wholesale Eco Red Shield protected lumber to customer lumber yards – prompting Eco Building Products to shift from direct sales and focus more on coating services only (CSO). Moreover, this role change will be supported by enhanced technical support and education, servicing Sherwood's lumber yard customers, including Builders, Architects and Specifiers, so that more American Homes can get built with a product that is better than raw lumber. As a result of these efforts, Sherwood recently delivered its first Eco Red Shield stocking dealer inventory to Speonk Lumber in Westhampton, New York http://www.speonklumber.com/.
Steve Conboy, President & Chief Executive Officer of Eco Building Products, Inc. commented that "Eco Building Products welcomes this new relationship with Sherwood Lumber as it follows the natural progression of our original business plan. Eco Red Shield is steadily making its way across the country in retail big-box stores, and more recently in lumber yards simply because this framing lumber offers a warranty that no raw lumber product does. Eco is not a lumber company; we are a technology company that provides innovative, eco-friendly lumber protection against mold, rot, termites and fire. Also, there is no argument or debate – Eco Red Shield is not pressure treated lumber and it was not created for landscaping timber and decks. The product is a valued-added framing lumber for the whole house that's safe around children and in schools. Further, the product has begun to gain recognition by Disaster Recovery experts in multiple states; and today this product continues to make an impact in and around the Sandy Rebuild http://www.ecob.net/index.php?p=blog. Eco's mission continues as we positively approach combatting wasteful lumber consumption as a result of mold infestation, wood-rot decay, flooding, forest fires and the rapidly growing termite population. We are excited to allow Sherwood to showcase our product to many of our great American lumber yards this week offering them the newest and best in whole-house, safe lumber technology." http://youtu.be/Uk0LxeqLqIA
