Sherpa's Madison Gates Honored as a 2016 CFF STANDOUT Charlottean
Recognized for Contributions to the Charlotte Business and Philanthropic Community
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison Gates, a Recruiting/Account Manager with Sherpa's Technology and Project Management team, was recently honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Charlotte Chapter as a STANDOUT Charlottean. This program, in its seventh year, honors high performing Charlotte professionals. Those selected are proven leaders, active in volunteer roles and are successful in their chosen fields. A ceremony honoring Gates and her fellow STANDOUT professionals was held in November at Charlotte's Ritz-Carlton.
A New York native, Gates joined Sherpa in 2014 after earning her MBA from Lenior-Rhyne University. While completing her program, Madison coached LR's Women's Soccer Team and led them to a sweet 16 appearance. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she competed as a goalie on the Women's Soccer team and was a member of the US National Team from 2003 – 2007. At Sherpa, Gates works with both clients and candidates to place Technology and Project Management talent. In addition to her involvement with CF, Gates' philanthropic efforts have included Race for the Cure, Make-a-Wish, Hope Haven and Habitat for Humanity.
