Shelby American, Inc. President Amy Boylan Featured Guest Speaker at February MPG Luncheon
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles-based Motor Press Guild (MPG) announced today that Shelby American, Inc. President Amy Boylan will serve as the guest speaker for its February 9th meeting. Boylan will address the turbulent changes in the current automotive industry with a discussion on how a small high performance auto manufacturer can thrive in a sea of big competitors and heavy government regulation.
As the President of Shelby American, Inc., a division of Carroll Shelby International, Inc. and manufacturers of high-performance Shelby vehicles, Boylan directs the company's sales, marketing, production and financial divisions from the Las Vegas headquarters. She also leads the company's exclusive licensing agreements and sales of Shelby-branded vehicles. Boylan has proven herself an expert at streamlining and optimizing corporate efficiencies, formerly serving as Vice-President of Mattel and guiding the marketing for the die-cast, racing, automotive aftermarket and online initiatives while building the software division into a $140 million enterprise.
This month's meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 11:30 a.m. at The Proud Bird, 11022 Aviation Boulevard (Northeast corner of 111th; near LAX), Los Angeles, CA 90045.
