Sheetz to celebrate Earth Day

ALTOONA, Pa., April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sheetz announced today its continued commitment to sustainability.  The company will host an Earth Day Celebration at their Distribution Center located in Claysburg, PA, on April 22 to give employees an opportunity to learn about healthier lifestyle choices for both themselves and the environment.

Several local environmental and health organizations, including Canoe Creek State Park, Rails to Trails, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and the Blair County Conservation District will attend the event to discuss ways in which employees can learn about energy efficiency and conservation, nature, health and well-being. Sheetz family members and the Sheetz Executive Committee will also plant a tree on the Claysburg campus to show the company's commitment to becoming more environmentally-friendly.
