Shawn Price Joins Datameer Board

(www.datameer.com), a provider of end-user analytics solutions built on Apache Hadoop, today announced that Shawn Price, the President of Zuora, has joined Datameer's Board of Directors.  Price brings a wealth of successful experience across enterprise software strategy and operations. 

Prior to Zuora, Price helped early-stage growth companies in enterprise technology, SaaS, Cloud, and consumer markets as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Battery Ventures.  Prior to Battery, he was CEO, President and Chairman of the Board at Savvion where he led strategic and operational functions of the company and was Senior Vice President and General Manager Americas at Vitria where he helped guide the company to one of the most successful IPOs of 1999 resulting in a $10 billion market cap.
