Sharie Bourbeau Joins Aveshka, Inc. As Vice President, Program Development

ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Aveshka, Inc. is pleased to announce that Ms. Sharie Bourbeau, formerly of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense (DoD), will be joining the firm as Vice President, Program Development effective April 1, 2014.  Girish K. Ms. Bourbeau joins Aveshka with a wealth of experience in her 30 years with both DoD and DHS, over 13 of those years as a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES).  Most recently, Ms. Bourbeau served as the Principal Executive for Program Management for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) where she was responsible for developing a strategic approach for managing a multi-billion dollar budget.  Prior to that, she was the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Technology Innovation and Acquisition for CBP, providing oversight and governance over CBP's major acquisition programs.  Ms. Bourbeau has received multiple awards from the Department of the Navy as well as Industry's Top 100 Federal Information Technology Award.  Ms. Bourbeau is also a Distinguished Visiting Fellow with the Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute.
