Sharethrough Announces 100% Viewability Across All Ad Impressions Served
New standard raises the bar for native advertising by ensuring quality consumer engagement

Sharethrough is the first native advertising platform to offer guaranteed viewability for impressions served across all platforms, including desktop, tablet, mobile web and mobile apps.
Hundreds of millions in advertising dollars were wasted last year on traditional networks and exchanges where only a third of all display ads were "viewable." To make sure an ad is actually viewable, Sharethrough monitors the corners of the viewport (the part of the page in-view) and the corners of the ad using built-in browser javascript properties. When more that 50% of the ad space is visible in the viewport for more than a second, the technology fires a viewable beacon. This technology adheres to the IAB standards for viewability.
A "Viewable CPM" (cost per viewable impression) pricing model directly matches brand marketers' goals from awareness at the top of the funnel to brand metrics like engagement, and favorability in the middle of the funnel.
