("The Children's Place" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: PLCE), today announced that it has filed definitive proxy materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the election of its two highly qualified director nominees, Seth R. Johnson and Robert L. Mettler, to the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") at its upcoming 2015 Annual Meeting of Stockholders scheduled to be held on May 22, 2015 (the "Annual Meeting").
Shareholders for Change at The Children's Place also announced today that it has issued an open letter to shareholders outlining its views regarding why immediate change is necessary at The Children's Place, including its serious concerns with the Board's apparent failure to represent the interests of The Children's Place shareholders.
