NEW YORK, Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Attorney Advertising-- Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman, LLC notifies investors that a securities class action has been filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on behalf of those who purchased shares of SunEdison, Inc. ("SunEdison" or the "Company") (NYSE: SUNE), during the period between June 16, 2015 and October 6, 2015 inclusive (the "Class Period").
The complaint alleges that SunEdison and certain corporate insiders made materially misleading misrepresentations and omissions regarding SunEdison's business practices and operations. Specifically, the Complaint alleges that defendants misrepresented and failed to disclose that SunEdison did not have the financial resources to sustain its acquisition binge. On October 5, the Company disclosed it was laying off 15% of its workforce. Following this news, shares of SunEdison fell damaging investors.
