ShareASale Partners with Payoneer to Power Global Payments
Integration of these two leading companies aims to drive publisher growth, speed up payments and reduce costs for publishers worldwide.
NEW YORK, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ShareASale, a part of Awin and an advanced Affiliate Marketing Network, has partnered with Payoneer , a leading B2B cross-border payments company, to provide cross-border payments to their 100,000 plus publishers in over 50 countries around the world. This new integration will allow ShareASale to pay their publishers, quickly, cost-effectively, and in their local currency, as well as drive growth into new markets.
ShareASale has been in business for 17 years, and powers over 5,000 affiliate programs. In January 2017, ShareASale joined Awin, a global affiliate network spanning 900 employees and 15 locations around the world. As their network grew and they expanded to new countries, paying publishers across borders became a time-intensive and inefficient process.
At the same time, publishers began reaching out to ShareASale to request that they work with Payoneer. "Paying the commissions that publishers earn from the merchants on the ShareASale Network is our primary and most important job," noted Brian Littleton, CEO of ShareASale. "Whenever we received a request from our publishers across the globe, they were asking for us to provide them the Payoneer payment option."
Payoneer's online cross-border payment platform enables businesses all over the world to pay and get paid globally as easily as they do locally. By integrating with Payoneer, ShareASale can utilize Payoneer's low-cost payment options to seamlessly pay publishers in over 200 countries and territories, in more than 150 currencies, offering the ultimate flexibility for the affiliate marketing industry. For the publishers, they will get the speed and flexibility of Payoneer, enabling them to withdraw their money by the method and in the currency of their choice.
Littleton adds, "Working with Payoneer provides us two key benefits: The first being a fast, easy, and economical way for our global publishers to be paid in the currencies that they wish to be paid in. The second is an increase in publisher sign-up from areas of the world who may have previously found it difficult to promote our primarily US based merchants."
"We're thrilled to be working with ShareASale to improve the way they pay publishers all around the world, and to further expand their ecosystem," added Scott Galit, CEO of Payoneer. "By providing faster, more flexible payment options, Payoneer and ShareASale are enabling publishers from all over the globe to reach new advertisers and new audiences, in order to grow their businesses."
