WALTHAM, Mass. and ATLANTA, Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- PatientKeeper®, Inc. and ShareableFORMS today announced the release of their new solution that integrates PatientKeeper Charge Capture™ with ShareableFORMS iPad®-based electronic health record (EHR) lite app. The new offering, ShareableREVENUE, enables providers to launch PatientKeeper from within ShareableFORMS with a single tap, so professional charges can be entered within the documentation workflow on an iPad at the patient's bedside. Completed charges will then be transmitted automatically by PatientKeeper to the provider's billing system.
ShareableREVENUE digitally captures the clinical, financial, and administrative workflows of a physician's practice directly in native form factors on an iPad, eliminating the need for paper-based inputs. The solution, initially developed for the unique data capture needs of anesthesiologists, can increase top-line revenues by reducing the volume of claims lost to incomplete or inaccurate data capture. The portability and recognizable features of the iPad feels comfortable in the user's hands, and along with ShareableREVENUE's intuitive user interface, allows more efficient patient data capture at the point of care. Because ShareableREVENUE is highly customizable, the provider is able to control the forms configuration at the field level to specify the data mappings without disrupting current clinical workflows.
PatientKeeper complements EHR and related systems with a range of instinctive applications that automate and streamline physicians' workflow, delivered with a uniquely physician-friendly user experience across both web and native mobile platforms.
"ShareableFORMS offers a compelling clinical documentation solution for anesthesiologists. We are pleased they have chosen to partner with PatientKeeper to extend that functionality with our professional charge capture capability," Paul Brient, PatientKeeper's CEO, said. "The integrated solution will offer an easier workflow for busy providers and help ensure complete and accurate billing for their organizations."
"We're excited to partner with our friends at PatientKeeper on the ShareableREVENUE joint platform," Bobby Mehan, ShareableFORMS's CEO, said. "We feel that the combination of PatientKeeper's industry leading provider applications with ShareableFORMS's proven ability to more accurately capture documentation at the point of care will disrupt the surgical ecosystem by creating the first fully-interoperable, clinically-driven revenue cycle management solution."
ShareableREVENUE will be sold exclusively by ShareableFORMS.
