Shareablee Releases Social Publisher Ranking for September 2014
TMZ enters the top 10 for the first time and J-14 Magazine leads the teen publishing category
NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareablee Inc. (http://www.shareablee.com), the leading social media benchmarking and audience engagement analysis firm, released today its monthly Social Publisher Ranking. The September ranking reveals audiences engaging with publishing properties on social media in the US, with a total volume of 359M actions generated on Facebook, 24M on Twitter and 177M on Instagram.
National Geographic led the top 10 ranking for the fourth consecutive month, drawing 63.46M engaged actions across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Of the top 10, The Huffington Post engaged the largest audience on Facebook (12.35M), followed closely by BuzzFeed (10.51M) and Bleacher Report (8.55M). TMZ entered the top 10 for the first time with 5.16M total actions.

Fastest growing categories by volume of social media actions were:
1. Family – 38%
Fastest growing titles were FamilyFun Magazine and Family Circle with 249% and 53% growth,
respectively.
2. Women's Interest & Lifestyle – 27%
Fastest growing properties for the category were Working Mother Magazine and SELF Magazine,
which grew 269% and 66%, respectively.
3. Business & Finance – 19%
Driven largely by Fortune with a 116% growth.
