Shareablee Releases Social Media Publisher Ranking for July 2014
National Geographic, The Huffington Post and Bleacher Report secure top ranks
NEW YORK, Aug. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareablee Inc (http://www.shareablee.com), the leading social media benchmarking and audience engagement analysis firm, released today its monthly Social Media Publisher Ranking. The July ranking reveals 17 percent growth over the past month in audiences engaging with publishing properties on social media in the US, with a total volume of 322M actions generated on Facebook.
National Geographic led the top 10 ranking, drawing 46.4M engaged actions across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Of the top 10, Bleacher Report engaged the most people on Facebook (6.5M), followed closely by BuzzFeed and The Huffington Post.

Fastest growing categories by volume of social media actions were:
1. Automotive – 58.13%
Driven largely by Road & Track and Car and Driver.
2. Entertainment – 30.88%
Fastest growing properties for the category were Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and OK!
Magazine, which grew 564%, 374% and 275%, respectively.
3. Business and finance – 25.64%
Fastest growing titles were Forbes, Barron's and Money Magazine with 509%, 89% and 88%
growth, respectively.
