SHAPE Announces Alyssa Kolsky Hertzig as Beauty Director
NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tara Kraft Horan, Editor-in-Chief of SHAPE, today announced that Alyssa Kolsky Hertzig has been named Beauty Director of the magazine. Hertzig will be responsible for the brand's growing beauty editorial. SHAPE is the #1 active lifestyle magazine in the U.S., with an audience of more than 6 million readers.

Hertzig joins SHAPE from Allure, where she served as Contributing Executive Beauty Editor since 2008 and brings with her a passionate energy, excellent reporting and editing skills, a keen eye for runway and celebrity trends, as well as strong industry relationships. Prior to Allure, Alyssa held beauty positions at Good Housekeeping, Lucky and Harper's Bazaar.
