Shady Grove Fertility (SGF), Largest Fertility Center in United States, Launches SGF China--Now Offering Mandarin-Speaking Patient Care Team, Signature Programs, New Website, and Two Patient Seminars in Shenyang and Xi'an
Shady Grove Fertility, a U.S.-Based Practice Founded in 1991 and Home to More Babies Born than Any Other U.S. Fertility and IVF Center, is Expanding and Bringing its Signature Programs to China. A Mandarin-Speaking Patient Care Team, Guarantee Financial Programs, High Success Rates, and Quality Lab Standards Will Help Chinese Patients Start or Grow Their Families.
WASHINGTON, Sept. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) is a nationally recognized, state-of-the-art fertility and IVF center with specialists who work closely with patients from all 50 states and 35 countries around the world. Today, the practice announced an expansion of its international referral program to China with a Mandarin-speaking patient care team, best-in-class technology, advanced treatment options, guarantee financial programs, published success rates, and strict lab quality standards to benefit Mandarin-speaking individuals and couples in the United States, China, and all over the world.
Treating infertility has proven to be a challenge in China, a country formerly known for its one-child-per-family policy, a population-control measure enacted in 1979 that the government scrapped in late 2015. China's strict regulation and restrictions around in vitro fertilization (IVF) and more advanced procedures and already crowded state-run hospitals who are overwhelmed with demand have pushed patients to seek care in unregulated Chinese clinics or seek treatment overseas, including the United States.
"The biggest driver pushing Chinese patients to seek care abroad is the lack of access and nearly impossible restrictions surrounding IVF. As well, tight restrictions make it difficult for practices like SGF to operate IVF centers in China, therefore, by assembling a Mandarin-speaking patient care team, we can provide advanced fertility services and a streamlined process to patients traveling from China or from anywhere around the world," remarks SGF's Chief Executive Officer, Mark Segal.
"We understand the unique needs of Chinese patients and have put a supportive infrastructure in place for Mandarin-speaking patients by hiring a U.S. trained, bilingual medical team who will coordinate all aspects of patient care. Patients who come to our center will benefit from a patient-centric model that addresses not only the medical, emotional, and financial needs but also concierge-level care that efficiently navigates them the process," adds Segal.
