- Low cost, low power and cloud AI-connected hearable with voice wake-up and noise reduction
- Creates service business revolution, allowing devices to pool data for smart logistics
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), a developer of ultra-low power multi-core voice-enabled SoCs, embedded FPGA IP, and Endpoint AI solutions, announced today that SF Technology Company, Ltd. has designed its Xiaofeng Smart Bluetooth Headset using the QuickLogic EOS™ S3 Voice and Sensor Processing Platform. SF Technology develops technology for Express Courier, which is based in Shenzhen. The Xiaofeng Smart Bluetooth Headset supports the company's extensive logistical operations by giving its employees all-weather speech activated access to critical shipment information from its own database as well as cloud-based AI to accelerate decision making.
The new headset from SF Technology is a smart hearable device with integrated voice wake-up and noise reduction capabilities customized for the company's work environment. It is a low-cost, low-power and high-compatibility device enabling a service business revolution by allowing smart devices worn by a large group of employees to pool data and promote efficient logistical operations. Applying all-weather speech recognition technology, the headset frees the hands of the order takers, shipping clerks, and delivery people and provides the added benefit of easy access to artificial intelligence resources, dramatically reducing express order processing time and increasing the speed and efficiency of product shipment and delivery. Hands-free, all-weather operation is particularly valuable to the company's fleet of workers driving motorcycles and mopeds to complete deliveries.
"SF Express Group is one of the largest couriers in China and has a vast and sophisticated logistics business," said Scott Haylock, marketing director for voice-enabled products at QuickLogic Corporation. "We are very proud that SF Technology based their new voice-enabled headset design on our EOS S3 platform. We are looking forward to building a successful strategic relationship with SF Technology."
