Several Obama Administration Officials to Address NLC Conference
WASHINGTON, March 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A wide range of officials from the Obama Administration will address local leaders tomorrow during the National League of Cities' (NLC) 2010 Congressional City Conference. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, White House Office of Urban Affairs Director Adolfo Carrion and Administrator Karen G. Mills of the Small Business Administration will speak during tomorrow's morning general session.

In the afternoon, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan will join Ambassador Ron Kirk from the Office of the United States Trade Representative and Administrator Lisa Jackson from the Environmental Protection Agency to give remarks during the conference's closing general session.
Thousands of local officials from across the country are in Washington, DC, this week to hear from Administration and Congressional leaders, discussing topics important to cities and towns, including job creation and economic stability, transportation and infrastructure, energy and sustainability and housing stabilization.
