Seven CAA Member Agencies Included In IIABA's 2012 Best Practices Study: CAA Members Make Up 33% Of The Agencies Selected In Texas

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Combined Agents of America, LLC (CAA) announced seven of its member agencies have retained its status as part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the United States participating in the independent insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big "I") 2012 "Best Practices" Study Group. The selected "Best Practices" agencies retain their status during the three-year cycle by submitting extensive financial and operational data for review each year to IIABA and Reagan Consulting, an Atlanta-based management-consulting firm. With members based in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, CAA is a managing general agency (MGA) committed to strengthening the independent insurance agency system through profitable growth and exceptional service for its member agencies.

The Best Practices Study was initiated by IIABA in 1993 as the foundation for efforts to improve agency performance.  Every three years, IIABA collaborates with Reagan Consulting to select "Best Practices" firms throughout the nation for outstanding management and financial achievement in six revenue categories (under $1,250,000; $1,250,000 to $2,500,000; $2,500,000 to $5,000,000; $5,000,000 to $10,000,000; $10,000,000 to $25,000,000; and over $25,000,000). This year concludes the current three-year cycle in which more than 1,200 independent agencies throughout the U.S. were nominated to participate. Only 224 agencies, the top scoring agencies in each of six revenue groups, qualified for selection.
