Seven B.C. Companies Head to Silicon Valley after an Intense Investor Bootcamp

VANCOUVER, April 6 /PRNewswire/ - Seven B.C. companies have been selected to participate in the Northern Cleantech Showcase in Silicon Valley next week. In preparation, these companies, all looking for an opportunity to receive a corporate investment, attended an investor bootcamp April 5th, hosted by some of B.C.'s top professional business services providers.

The Northern Cleantech Showcase is a collaboration of cleantech research and consulting company Kachan & Co., financial consultants Deloitte, legal advisers Gowlings, and the Government of British Columbia. In order to prepare the seven companies for their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, these companies offered a full day bootcamp, providing financial advice, marketing tips and legal knowledge to prepare companies for a shot at venture investment in Silicon Valley.
