FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sevatec has announced a new partnership with George Mason University through its career services office that will help prepare the next generation of students for careers in information technology.

Sevatec will kick off a series of events this month, including a Meet and Greet with engineering and computer science students in the Volgenau School of Engineering on Mason's Fairfax Campus. Sevatec's Innovations Team (I-Team) will spend time with students explaining the impacts Sevatec is having on the technology industry, particularly in government contracting.
In addition, as a recognized leader in Agile methodologies, Sevatec will hold a series of weekly Agile workshops featuring Sevatec's Agile experts. Beginning Oct. 16 and continuing through Nov. 6, Sevatec's industry leading Agilists John Hughes, Josh Seckel, and Jon Ceanfaglione will share insights into the Modern Approach to Software Development, Agile Methodologies, Agile Development Engineering, and Agile Operations Engineering. Sevatec will also participate in on-campus hackathons, resume review clinics, and career fair days at Mason for the second year in a row.
