SES Supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation
Award-winning marketing and sales firm holds successful fundraiser
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SES, a privately owned marketing and sales firm headquartered in Philadelphia, recently held a fundraiser to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization which raises funds to grant wishes for children diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, thereby giving them hope and renewed strength to fight those conditions.
With the support of more than a dozen people involved in the event – planned as a summer project by SES' summer interns and fashioned as a city-wide "amazing race" themed scavenger hunt – 16 participants formed teams to follow clues hidden around the city of Philadelphia to win the race. Each team was assigned a country to represent and encouraged to build team spirit.
The fundraising event, which took place on a temperate day in late July, saw participants racing from the Liberty Bell to Game Piece Park to the Amor Statue, culminating with the winning team's discovery of the final clue in Spruce Street Harbor Park.
SES raised several hundred dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the team is excited to participate in more fundraising events in the future.
