BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ServisFirst Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFBS) has been added to the KBW Bank Honor Roll of superior performers, which recognizes banking institutions that achieved positive earnings per share growth trends over the last decade. This is the first year ServisFirst Bank has been named to this list of banking institutions. Only eighteen out of nearly 400 evaluated banking institutions nationwide qualified for this year's list.
To be eligible for the KBW Bank Honor Roll, banks with more than $500 million in total assets must have:
- No annual loss reported in net income per share before extraordinary items over the past 10 years;
- 2015 annual reported net income per share before extraordinary items equal to or greater than peak net income per share over the past 10 years;
- Consecutive increases in net income per share before extraordinary items since 2009.
