United Natural Foods, Inc. Analyst Notes
On June 10, 2014, United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) reported its financial results for Q3 FY 2014 (period ended May 3, 2014). Net sales increased 13.8% YoY to $1.8 billion. Net income for the quarter was $36.4 million or $0.73 per diluted share, compared to net income of $31.6 million or $0.64 per diluted share in Q3 FY 2013. The Company also updated its fiscal 2014 guidance and now expects net sales in the range of approximately $6.73 to $6.77 billion, an increase of approximately 11.0% to 11.6% YoY. "Each of our sales channels continued to benefit from consumers increasingly choosing better-for-you natural, organic and specialty foods as illustrated by our second consecutive quarter of net sales growth in excess of $200 million," said Steven Spinner, President and CEO. Aramark Analyst Notes
On June 26, 2014, Aramark announced that it is celebrating National Hot Dog Month during the month of July 2014 with a tasty lineup of gourmet hot dogs.
