PHOENIX, Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Serendipit Consulting, a full-service marketing and public relations agency with a diverse national client base, has earned the Performance PR Certification through IrisPR, a leading PR software company.
The rigorous certification program teaches agencies how to improve both quality and quantity of PR outcomes, while focusing on proving real business value, reducing chaos, and creating a scalable, predictable PR organization. IrisPR developed the Performance PR program working with high performing agencies and in-house PR teams around the world, combining insights with actual PR attribution data.
Throughout the six-month training, Serendipit Consulting's PR team participated in boot camp style workshops and completed weekly projects to adjust processes, deliver extreme transparency to clients, and retool PR reporting.
"As marketing has progressed to be more digitally focused, it has become critical to find a real way to illustrate ROI in PR," said Melissa DiGianfilippo, partner and president of public relations for Serendipit. "Achieving media wins isn't enough; it's important that all PR outcomes make an actual impact on the clients' goals and bottom line. This Performance PR Certification has given my team the confidence to show real value in our PR efforts to our clients."
For Serendipit, the certification has already proven to be worth the investment. The agency has grown current accounts, renewed more clients, and won a higher percentage of new business. Additionally, the agency is earning a higher client net promoter score than ever before.
"Traditionally, it's been challenging for any agency we have worked with to prove true measurement of PR coverage. Any tactic we invest resources in has to be measurable and impact our bottom line goals," said Tracey Lyles, director of social media and public relations for Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store, a national jeweler. "Our executive team has been impressed with Serendipit's focus on what every piece of coverage means to our goals and their ability to shift our PR strategy based on the metrics and findings."
Aly Saxe, founder of IrisPR said the company created the program after realizing that so many agencies were struggling to prove value to clients, and she saw PR losing budget and credibility.
"Exceptional PR doesn't happen by luck. It's the result of consistent, methodical practices and real data that show true ROI, not vanity metrics. Brands with the best PR know it's more science than art, and they leave little to chance," said Saxe. "We cultivated a program that would show agencies a better way to measure what matters to clients, and to make sure PR efforts were focused on what is actually driving results."
Serendipit is the first agency to complete the Performance PR Certification program. Some of the firm's clients include: Taylor Morrison, Modern Acupuncture, DryBar, FastMed Urgent Care, Land Advisors, Robbins Brothers and Pacific Retail Capital Partners among others. Serendipit is led by co-owners Alexis Krisay and Melissa DiGianfilippo.
