Sercomm Demonstrates Devices Readiness Toward Commercial Deployment at Inaugural OnGo(TM) Interoperability Test Event
Successful Compatibility and Coexistence Demonstrated by Sercomm Devices against 5 of the Leading Spectrum Access System (SAS) Administrators in USA
TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sercomm (TWSE: 5388), a leading manufacturer and supplier of telecom equipment, today announced successful interoperability against USA's five leading Spectrum Access System (SAS) Administrators at the inaugural OnGo™ Interoperability Test Event hosted by CBRS Alliance and CableLabs (1st OnGo™ Interop Event). With the advantages of our long successful TD-LTE based device development experience, Sercomm's full range of CBRS devices offer ideal solutions for applications including mobile network densification, Fixed-Mobile convergence, fixed wireless access and private LTE for both enterprise and Industrial IoT use. The event drew government dignitaries and 20 member companies.
The SAS Administrators at the CBRS Alliance's Interoperability Test Event fostered more than 50 successful interactions. Of the mandatory tests performed, there was a 100 percent test completion rate with no recorded failures by Sercomm. The interactions tested the critical functions required for support of all the use cases the CBRS Alliance has identified as most relevant for spectrum sharing in the 3.5 GHz band, including mobile network densification, fixed wireless, neutral host, and private LTE for both enterprise and industrial IoT use.
"Sercomm has been actively working on building an industry-leading CBRS device and solutions portfolio for nearly three years," said Ben Lin, Executive VP and CTO. "Completion of this successful round of interoperability tests with all the major SAS Administrators validates our ongoing commitment and readiness towards commercial deployment."
Sercomm's Part-96 compliant CBRS Product Portfolio is available for immediate trials and includes:
- Strand & Pole Mount CBRS Small Cells with DOCSIS & Fiber Backhaul
- Enterprise and Residential CBRS Small Cells
- Cat15/13 ODU
- Dual band MiFi Router, USB Dongle and Video bridge
- IoT Gateway with CBRS Backhaul
- Small Cell Management System
Those interested in learning more about Sercomm's CBRS solutions are invited to attend the CBRS Alliance's second annual Partner Program at Mobile World Congress Americas, "Catch the OnGo Wave," in Los Angeles on Sept. 12.
