Sequel to Mystery Novel with British Humor and Wit Joins Book Exhibit
Author Elizabeth Schaeffer's The Renaissance of the Skein will be featured at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany on October 9-13, 2013
EXETER, N.H., Aug. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This second book of a series, blending a well-plotted mystery, bright British humor, high suspense, and a happy ending, centers around a strong, intelligent woman and the friends she makes in her continuing challenges. As the suspense builds, readers will find themselves turning pages to follow the action in this breathtaking adventure.
Those who met Lady Ann, the witty, perceptive central character in The Skein, will enjoy meeting her again in The Renaissance of the Skein. Ann is not merely perceptive. She is a woman who can see far more than others suspect. The reader will also enjoy meeting the intriguing, possibly dangerous, new friends she gains as she follows the clues in a mysterious arcane Renaissance book found hidden in the library of an historical country home. These clues seem to lead to powers also hunted down by those on the dark side that are desperate to possess these powers to control the minds of others.
Ann must learn which of her friends she can trust as she searches for her own way in the constant struggle between good and evil, knowing that the choices she faces can dangerously tilt that balance into destruction. Fascinating new characters, clever dialogue, and a complex plot make The Renaissance of the Skein a joy to read, and a hard book to put down.
This book is available online and can be purchased at www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com and www.trafford.com.
