September Jobs Numbers Release Postponed Indefinitely due to Federal Shutdown

HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry announced today that, due to the federal government shutdown that took place October 1-16, the September 2013 preliminary jobs, labor force, and unemployment statistics that were scheduled to be released today will not be available.

At this time it is unknown when, or if, preliminary data for the month of September will be produced or published. An updated schedule of future data releases will be provided on www.paworkstats.pa.gov when available.
