Sept. 17-18 auctions to feature commercial buildings, homes and land
ATLANTA, Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 70 pieces of real estate – most of it in Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas – will sell Sept. 17-18 in a two-day Atlanta auction, with John Dixon & Associates marketing the properties and managing the sale.
"We have a really diverse group of properties, with some nice commercial buildings and land, as well as homes and home sites," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.
The first day's 35 offerings on Wednesday, Sept., 17, will include a condominium in Miami, a former day care in Atlanta, a former auto auction facility in Swainsboro, and a six-unit apartment building in Austell. It will also include homes, as well as residential and commercial land.
The second day – Thursday, Sept. 18 – will feature approximately 38 properties, primarily in Georgia.
"One of our highlights for the Thursday sale is a nice professional building in St. Marys, Ga. That building is a real find for somebody, because it's so versatile. It could be used for a medical practice, veterinary practice or many other applications," said Dixon. Also set for auction on Sept. 18 are a skating rink in Easley, S.C., a commercial building in downtown McDonough, Ga., and a multi-screen movie theater in Riverdale, Ga..
Both events will be held at the John Dixon & Associates offices, 200 Cobb Parkway North, Suite 120, Marietta, Ga., beginning at 11 a.m. each day. Individuals seeking additional information may call 770-425-1141 or visit www.johndixon.com.
