SENTEL Names Amy LaCivita Executive Vice President And Sandy Brucker Vice President Of Contracts
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SENTEL, an information technology, intelligence, integrated logistics, and engineering services company, today announced two senior promotions: Amy LaCivita was named Executive Vice President, and Sandy Brucker Vice President of Contracts.

LaCivita joined SENTEL in 2009 with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to joining SENTEL, she served for 10 years as Vice President of Contracts of Dimensions International, Inc. (DI), managing a staff of 14 professionals until Honeywell acquired DI. During that period, DI grew from $30 million to $180 million in annual revenue. At Honeywell, LaCivita was Contracts Manager of the Logistics Division. Also she held positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and TRW (now Northrop Grumman).
Before her career in contracts, LaCivita taught music in the Prince George's County, MD, public school system and was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year at Gwynn Park High School. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Education from The Ohio State University. She holds an M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland, and a Certificate in Contracts and Procurement from the University of Virginia. LaCivita is an active member of the National Contract Management Association, the City of Fairfax Band, the Virginia Grand Military Band, and the Cathedral Brass.
Brucker joined the SENTEL team in 2009 with more than 25 years of government contracts experience. Throughout her career, she has worked with nearly every federal agency and has a special interest in logistics and international efforts. She served for seven years with DI as Director of Contracts during which the company grew from $52 million to $180 million in annual revenue and to more than 30 locations worldwide.
When DI was acquired by Honeywell, Inc. in 2007, Brucker was Contracts Manager in the Logistics Division of Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. (HTSI). Prior to DI, she was Contracts Manager at MCI. Her previous roles included Contracts Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton and Senior Contracts Administrator at JAYCOR and McDonnell Douglas Corporation.
Brucker earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Certificate in Contracts and Procurement from the University of Virginia.
