Senior Star Receives Accreditation from CARF
Senior Star's 12 communities nationwide recognized for the highest standards in serving seniors
TULSA, Okla., Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Senior Star announces today that each of its 12 senior living communities nationwide has been accredited for a three-year term by CARF. CARF is an independent, third-party, not-for-profit, health-related, accreditation firm founded in 1966.
This achievement represents the highest level of accreditation that CARF awards. It demonstrates Senior Star's conformance to CARF's quality standards and pursuit of excellence. All of Senior Star's programs are accredited including its Dementia Care Specialty Program, Assisted Living and Independent Living.
As an obligation to the public, Senior Star understands the need to be at the forefront of what should be an industry trend. The only other senior living company in the industry that has accredited all of its eligible communities like Senior Star, is the Senior Resource Group led by Michael Grust, CEO.
Senior Star believes in its responsibility to deliver to older adults and their families the best in care, services and business operations. To follow through on that obligation, seeking CARF accreditation became a natural priority. Maintaining CARF accreditation means an unwavering commitment to continually raising the bar with a focus on excellence, which is already the hallmark of Senior Star's culture.
Choosing to be accredited by CARF is voluntary. The associates at each Senior Star community went through a rigorous, twelve-month peer review process and demonstrated their commitment to measurable, accountable and high quality programs and services.
"We sought CARF accreditation at Senior Star communities nationwide in order to validate our commitment to providing exceptional services to aging adults, while ensuring processes to continually meet or exceed best-practice, industry standards," said Anja Rogers, Senior Star, COO.
