SendGrid Drives Customer Engagement Using Amazon Web Services
SendGrid's Email Delivery Platform Now Available on AWS Marketplace
DENVER, Sept. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SendGrid, a leading customer communication platform that drives engagement and growth, today announced the availability of its solution on AWS Marketplace. The addition of SendGrid's platform to AWS Marketplace enables customers to integrate SendGrid's cloud email platform into applications deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
"Our availability on AWS Marketplace enables more customers to leverage the scalability and deliverability of our email platform, combined with flexible APIs and attentive customer service," said J.R. Jasperson, Chief Architect at SendGrid. "Through AWS Marketplace, customers can quickly find, buy and deploy SendGrid."
"AWS Marketplace is a global digital catalog that helps customers find, subscribe to, and deploy the software and services they need to run on AWS," said Dave McCann, vice president, AWS Marketplace and Service Catalog, Amazon Web Services, Inc. "With the availability of SendGrid's platform on AWS Marketplace, customers will be able to quickly innovate, by more easily taking full advantage of the breadth of services offered by SendGrid, which include integrating the Sendgrid cloud email platform into applications those customers already run on AWS."
Both SendGrid's email application programming interface (API) and marketing service are available on AWS Marketplace. The email API service enables businesses to programmatically send email via the SendGrid API or an SMTP relay, which SendGrid then facilitates for delivery to recipients, manages deliverability, and reports on account statistics and recipient engagement. SendGrid's email marketing service, SendGrid Marketing Campaigns, enables businesses to design, test, send and report on email campaigns to target recipient lists.
Today's announcement follows the July 25, 2017 AWS blog post, wherein SendGrid announced the expansion of its relationship with AWS by joining the AWS Partner Network (APN).
