SendGrid Adds Two New Members To Board Of Directors
Steven Lucas, President SAP Platform Solutions and Warren Adelman, Former CEO of GoDaddy, to Join Board
BOULDER, Colo., July 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --SendGrid, the leading email delivery service for the world's wanted email, today announced that Steven Lucas, president, SAP Platform Solutions and Warren Adelman, former CEO of GoDaddy, have been appointed to the company's board of directors, bringing the board's size to eight members.

Lucas currently serves as the global president of SAP Platform Solutions, leading the go-to-market teams and strategy for Analytics, Database & Technology, Mobile, and Big Data. With his primary focus on market acceleration and adoption in SAP's core innovation areas, Lucas develops and executes strategy across all markets and ensures operational excellence within the global go-to-market teams.
Prior to his current role, Lucas served as global EVP and GM of SAP's Database & Technology Business, leading a team of professionals in field sales, enablement, solutions management, and marketing across a diverse portfolio of products. Previously, he led the introduction of SAP HANA to the market in 2011. Prior to SAP, Mr. Lucas served as senior vice president of Force.com marketing and alliances at Salesforce.com, where he worked to encourage partners, developers and customers to adopt the Force.com platform and enable the next generation of enterprise applications in the cloud.

Adelman is the former CEO of GoDaddy. Prior to holding this position, Adelman was GoDaddy's long time president and COO. Previously, he held executive positions in product development and IT, customer care and business development at the company. During his decade at GoDaddy, the company grew sales to over $1.2 billion. In 2011, the company was sold to SilverLake Partners, KKR and TCV in a transaction valued at $2.25 billion. With the acquisition, Adelman became CEO, facilitating the transition to the new investment group and subsequently stepping into an advisory role at the company.
Adelman is currently the principal at The Nativ Group. Nativ is an investment vehicle and advisory services provider for SMB-focused technology companies and other Internet-based services. Warren is also an advisor to companies in Israel including Yotpo and DudaMobile and is an investor in Binpress, Circa and others.
