Senator Tim Scott to Discuss "The School Choice Journey" During National School Choice Week
WASHINGTON, Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Elected officials and education experts will discuss how school choice has changed the lives of students in Washington, D.C., and around the country during a panel hosted by The American Enterprise Institute on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
The conversation will feature Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), Director of AEI Education Policy Studies Frederick Hess, and researchers Thomas Stewart, PhD, and Patrick Wolf, PhD, co-authors of a recent book studying the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program.
The event will be held at the American Enterprise Institute from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. More than 100 people are expected to attend.
