The electric vehicle charging stations are part of a large renovation effort designed to make the building and plaza one of the most sought after locations in Downtown Miami.
The ownership group has invested $20.5 million in improvements to create a modern, efficient and environmentally friendly location. Southeast Financial Center, located in the heart of Miami's Central Business District, is Florida's tallest and largest office tower and plaza, with 1.225 million square feet. The addition of electric vehicle charging stations will enhance the experience for tenants and will be a unique leasing amenity. Other green improvements include the implementation of elevator destination dispatch technology, which saves energy and reduces operating expenses, and leads to savings for the tenants by allowing employees to get to their respective offices faster and maximize work hours.
