Selective Insurance Group Announces Officer Appointments

BRANCHVILLE, N.J., Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Selective Insurance Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIGI), announced the following appointments by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America.

Christie Harris (Charlotte, NC) to vice president, Claims Workers Compensation. Ms. Harris joined Selective in October 2013.  Prior to that, she served as field product line manager for Travelers Insurance. Ms. Harris earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, NC and earned the designation of senior claims law associate.

James Klotz (West Chester, PA) to vice president, Claims Strategic Operations and Systems. Mr. Klotz joined Selective in August 2013. His prior positions include senior vice president and chief information officer at PMA Insurance Group and vice president of Information Systems at Travelers. Mr. Klotz earned a B.S. in Finance and Insurance from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT and is affiliated with the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group.

Kevin Forrey (Wantage, NJ) to assistant vice president, Claims Application Delivery. Mr. Forrey joined Selective in 2007 as a technical architect and most recently served as a senior application manager. Mr. Forrey earned a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, OH and an M.B.A. from Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ.

Eva Gonzalez (Morris Plains, NJ) to assistant vice president, Line of Business Manager.  Ms. Gonzalez joined Selective in September 2013 after serving as commercial lines underwriting officer for CNA. Ms. Gonzalez earned a B.A. in English from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
