Embodying a coveted persona of both strength and elegance, Solo is best known for her commitment and passion as starting goalkeeper for the United States Women's National Team since 2005, as well as her stellar performance in the 2008 Summer Olympics making her a gold medalist, followed by the 2011 World Cup, after which she became known as a true national hero. Solo will support Seiko's stunning Ladies' Sportura and Coutura collections to be released this fall.

Hope Solo is widely considered the best goalkeeper in the world. She has been the starter for the United States Women's National Team since 2005 and is well-known for her performance in the 2011 World Cup, where she was awarded the Golden Glove by FIFA as the tournament's top goalkeeper. She was also the starting goalkeeper for the United States in the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where the U.S. women's team won the gold medal. Hope was named U.S. Soccer Player of the Year in 2009 and is a two-time WPS All Star. When not playing soccer, Hope loves traveling the world and giving back through charitable outreach. Hope also participated as a contestant on the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars. She joins fellow soccer icon Landon Donovan in Seiko's brand ambassador family.
