See's Candies Celebrates National Lollypop Day with Free Lollypops on July 20

SAN FRANCISCO, July 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Last year, See's Candies celebrated National Lollypop Day by unveiling the world's largest lollypop, a Guinness Book of World Records-recognized 7,003 pound chocolate sucker. This year, the 92-year-old candy maker is throwing an even bigger celebration – in the center of the largest city in the U.S.

See's is bringing National Lollypop Day 2013 to life by unveiling a 3D sidewalk art depiction of lollypops breaking through the ground in Times Square by chalk artists Wasabi 3D in Times Square. The mural measures 20ft X 20ft.

On July 20, National Lollypop Day, free lollypops will be distributed all day at each of See's 200 shops nationwide.

"So on National Lollypop Day, we are continuing our tradition of offering free delicious lollypops, while bringing to life our love for lollypops in New York with a creative and unique 3D sidewalk art installation."

One lucky individual who "likes" the See's page and the sweepstakes tab will win a free trip for two to San Francisco that will include a guided tour of the See's lollypop factory – which makes up to 500,000 lollypops daily. Naturally, National Lollypop Day wouldn't be complete without an appearance from the World's Largest Lollypop. See's will display a replica of the gigantic square lollypop near the See's shop at The Grove retail and entertainment complex in Los Angeles on July 20.
