Rotary Lift Mach series mobile column lifts are available with capacities of 13,000 lbs. or 18,000 lbs. per column. With a total capacity of 52,000 lbs., four 13,000 lb. capacity columns can be used to service heavy-duty Class 8 vehicles, including most refuse trucks. Four 18,000 lb. capacity columns can handle up to 72,000 lbs. and lift nearly anything on the road. At WasteExpo 2014, the lift will be holding a Republic Services refuse truck decorated to honor Republic's driver of the year.
"Mach series mobile column lifts offer unmatched versatility," says Doug Spiller, heavy-duty product manager for Rotary Lift. "They come in two different capacities and can be ordered in sets of two, four, six or eight, so customers can buy just the right amount of capacity for their refuse or recycling collection fleet needs. This is key for fleet operators working on tight budgets."
Mobile column lifts offer unobstructed access to the underside of the vehicle, so users can easily reach the various hydraulic components found on refuse trucks. They provide better ergonomics than traditional pits or jacks, allowing technicians to work more efficiently and accurately. Rotary Lift's Mach series mobile column lifts are further built with several features that maximize efficiency, including a patent-pending intuitive control panel, automatic steering systems and automatic brakes.
The 13,000 lb. capacity column has a rise time of just 68 seconds, while the 18,000 lb. capacity model requires only 78 seconds. With the fast rise times, users are able to put vehicles back into service quicker than before.
Mach series mobile column lifts require little installation, which saves money up front, and they can be moved out of the way when not in use to free up space for other projects.
