Securonix Hires ArcSight Veterans Darren Gaeta and Paul Bowen to help execute its SIEM Intelligence Initiative

LOS ANGELES, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Securonix announced today the hiring of two key personnel; naming Darren Gaeta to Director of Alliances and Channels and Paul Bowen to Master Principal Architect.

Darren Gaeta, named as Director of Alliances and Channels, joins Securonix after seven years at HP Enterprise Security of which the first five were at Arcsight, the leading SIEM solution.
While at HP Enterprise Security, Darren was responsible for managing, developing and enabling the company's System Integrator alliances program across North America. Among some of the relationships that Darren managed are Accenture, PwC and several Strategic VARS like Dimension Data, Accuvant, Fishnet Security, Vigilant and Forsythe Solutions.
Darren brings to Securonix vast knowledge and industry recognition in the Security/Risk industry and will be instrumental in building the company's Alliances and Channel strategy. Darren also excels at building Eco-System relationships that drive top-line revenue. In his new role he will be responsible for building and enabling System Integrators, Security and Risk focused resellers as well as Technology Alliances.
Paul Bowen joins Securonix after five years at Arcsight as a principal sales engineer and then two more at HP as the Strategic Security Evangelist for the office of advanced solutions where he delivered HP's Security road map for Tipping Point, ArcSight and Fortify to the top 100 HP global customers. Previously, Paul spent ten years as a manager of Global Security for Estee Lauder.
Leveraging on his experience with large, sophisticated enterprise deployments, Paul will work with the delivery team on the most scalable, high performance deployments as well as design improved solutions for the market to provide better early detection capabilities of threats.
