Security Traders Association, "STA", Announces 2015 Board
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- At its first meeting of the year, held recently in Chicago, the STA finalized its 2015 Board of Governors. The 2015 STA Board is comprised of seventeen (17) elected and appointed Governors. These individuals are practitioners in the financial services industry who volunteer their time in service to the STA.
"Today's discussions on market structure require input from a wide range of market participants". STA Chairman, Rory O'Kane, KCG said. "I am pleased with the diversity represented on the 2015 Board and believe we are positioned to offer input that is well vetted".
Chairman, Mr. Rory O'Kane's primary duty will be to oversee the Association's actions and ensure that it continues to operate in a manner consistent with its mission statement.
With President & CEO Jim Toes and other members of senior management, Mr. O'Kane, will represent the views of the organization in its relationship with political and regulatory leaders whose decisions affect the daily operations of our industry.
