Secure Channels Inc. Lays Growth Foundation Through Four Strategic New Hires
Hires precede business expansion plans and strategic initiatives
IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Secure Channels Inc., provider of innovative security solutions designed to complement existing security investments, announced today the appointment of new hires across a range of company departments. The appointments include Dr. Thomas Fryer as Chief Technology Officer, Henry J. Sienkiewicz as the Chief Innovation & Revenue Officer, Hiro Ochi as the new Senior Vice President, Global Strategy and Enterprise Architecture and Timothy Smith as the Director of Technology Transformation.

The new hires each bring the following to their respective positions:
- Dr. Thomas has extensive experience with multiple classified defense systems, including GPS, DSP, BMEWS radars and JSS, along with MBA-level business management. He will add to the company's existing patent portfolio by aiding in the development of new technologies for patent submittal.
- Henry J. Sienkiewicz is the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Designated Authorizing Authority (DAA) for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), provider of IT services for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD.), its mission partners and the Executive Office of the President (EOP.) He is also the author of Amazon best-selling book, "The Art of Cyber Conflict." He will lead the team in areas such as market analysis, revenue and pipeline analysis.
- Hiro Ochi is a proven leader in enterprise architecture, information security and strategic planning across Global markets, through his work with US and Israeli organizations in successful entry into Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Chinese and other Asia-Pacific markets. He will be instrumental in ensuring Secure Channels remains agile and consistent in cross-market delivery of solutions, as well as a key force in expansion initiatives.
- Timothy Smith brings diverse technical experience, working for companies ranging from start-up to mid-sized firms, most recently serving as Chief Operations Officer for Creedenz Solutions, a mid-market CRM provider. He will work closely with the engineering team as a core leader in product and system transformation, where his expertise in project management, track record of customer satisfaction, and operational insight at the SMB level will tie in closely.
