Secret Intelligence Has A New President
Elia Infascelli, Former CEO of Propaganda GEM, Will Lead Development of SPYSCAPE's Physical and Digital Businesses
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- SPYSCAPE, the innovative experiential brand focused on the world of secret intelligence, today announced the appointment of Elia Infascelli as President, effective August 28, 2018. Earlier this year, SPYSCAPE opened its first permanent destination - a contemporary, interactive museum and experience in the heart of Midtown Manhattan that has been described by The New York Times as the "headquarters of our cultural fascination with the art of deception."
Infascelli was most recently the CEO of Propaganda GEM, the global entertainment marketing network that marries brands and content, including James Bond, Mission: Impossible, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, X-Games and National Geographic. The company, whose global clients include BMW, Google, Bulgari and Mini, was acquired by Wanda in 2016.
Infascelli's primary goal will be accelerating the development of SPYSCAPE's businesses in experiences, products and services, with an immediate focus on international expansion.
Speaking of his new role, Infascelli commented, "I've always loved the spy genre and when I discovered SPYSCAPE I was instantly captivated. I love how SPYSCAPE illuminates the genre, providing consumers with high quality, innovative and experiential content to inspire them in their everyday lives." He continued, "I'm excited about joining the incredible team at SPYSCAPE, and developing the brand around the world."
Before Propaganda, Infascelli spent 15 years at WME/IMG and was responsible for integrating WME owned ad agency Droga5 and WME/IMG internal marketing groups within the agency and its corporate clients, including Anheuser Busch, VISA and Rolex. At WME/IMG he was involved in creating the Brand Ventures group that builds brands with WME talent - most notably, Dwayne Johnson's successful Project Rock, which expanded Johnson's brand and persona in deals with Under Armour and others. Prior to this, Infascelli was a motion picture agent and co-head of WME's International Division, where he worked with directors such as Ben Affleck, Walter Salles, Martin Scorsese, Matthew Vaughn, Michael Winterbottom, Mathieu Kassovitz and Fernando Meirelles.
