Second Ordinary Tariff Revision of Sabesp

SÃO PAULO, July 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo – Sabesp ("Company" or "Sabesp"), pursuant to the provisions of Article 157, Paragraph 4 of Law No. 6404/76 and the provisions of CVM Instruction No. 358/02, announces to its shareholders and to the market in general that, on July 31, 2017, answering to Sabesp's request, as disclosed in the Material Fact of July 27, 2017, the Regulatory Agency for Sanitation and Energy of the State of São Paulo (ARSESP - Agência Reguladora de Saneamento e Energia do Estado de São Paulo), published a Notice on which ARSESP:

(i)   Grants the requested additional term of 07 (seven) days for the final clarifications on the
      content of the information presented by the Company under the preliminary stage of the
      2nd Ordinary Tariff Revision; and

(ii)   Announces that, up to August 7, it will disclose the amended schedule of Sabesp's 2nd
      Ordinary Tariff Revision.

The company will keep the market up to date on the progress of the matter within this material fact.
