Second Annual Kids Rock! Fashion Show, Presented by Haddad Brands, Announces a Live Performance by Teen Popstar, Jacquie Lee
NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The second annual Kids Rock! Fashion Show taking place Monday, September 8, 2014 at 6pm during New York Fashion Week, has taken Kids Rock! literally this year, adding a high-powered live music performance by 17-year-old Atlantic Records recording artist and The Voice finalist, Jacquie Lee, to the roster. This multi-brand live event and children's fashion show, presented by Haddad Brands will feature celeb kids strutting the catwalk in Spring 15 fashion looks from the Levi's® brand, Converse, Nike, Jordan, Hurley and Nike SB. The show is a Rookie USA-sponsored event. All proceeds of the event will go to Derek Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create and support signature programs and activities that motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and "Turn 2" healthy lifestyles.
Jacquie Lee rose to fame from the top-rated NBC show, The Voice, under the mentorship of pop superstar Christina Aguilera. Jacquie's debut single "Broken Ones" has more than 5 million streams on Spotify and shot to the Top 20 on the iTunes Pop Chart upon release.
Following Jacquie Lee's anticipated show opener, a team of celebrity offspring and professional models will walk this year's children's runway all for a good cause. Celebrity kids confirmed for the show are: Lil C, Jaden, Cyia, and Carter, the children of New York Yankee's CC Sabathia and wife Amber, Amar'e Jr.; Assata and Are Stoudemire, the children of New York Knick's Amare Stoudemire and wife Alexis; Jalen Jeter-Martin, son of Sharlee Jeter and nephew of New York Yankee's Derek Jeter; Kiyan Anthony, son of Carmelo Anthony and LaLa Anthony; Demi Smith, daughter of J.R. Smith; Kennedy Cruz, daughter of Victor Cruz and fiance Elaina Watley; and son of Angie Martinez, Niko Ruffin. Celebrity parents CC Sabathia and J.R. Smith will be walking the red carpet to support and will be available for photos and interviews.
