The six attorneys and four staff members of Michael & Alexander join the seven attorneys and 12 staff members in the Seattle office of Fisher Phillips. The firm has more than 350 lawyers nationwide.
Fisher Phillips and Michael & Alexander represent employers in workplace legal matters. Suzanne Kelly Michael focuses her practice on employment law, employment litigation, and civil litigation. She has litigated significant cases involving sexual harassment, sexual orientation discrimination, age and national origin discrimination, disability discrimination, and a host of other claims. Michael was named one of the "Top Ten Female Litigators in Washington State." She earned her law degree from Seattle University and her B.A. from the University of Washington.
Stephanie Alexander focuses her practice on employment and tort litigation, and employment counseling. She defends both public and private employers in litigation and arbitration for all types of employment related claims on a state and national level. She also regularly represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Human Rights Commission, and other administrative agencies. She received her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and her B.A. from Montana State University.
Matt Macario has litigated significant cases for a wide variety of clients with experience in a broad range of litigation matters, including employment litigation, construction litigation, premises liability litigation, and cyber liability litigation and counseling. He received his law degree from Temple University and his B.A. from the University of California at Davis.
Kathleen Kline focuses her practice on employment litigation and general litigation. She previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ann Schindler of the Washington State Court of Appeals. She received her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and her bachelor's degree in History and English from Seattle University. In law school, Kline served as the Chief Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review and as President of Street Youth Legal Advocates of Washington.
Claire Marshall focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling. Marshall served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court and was a law clerk at several Boston-area law firms and a legal intern in the civil division of the United States Attorney's Office. She earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Macalester College.
Thomas Vogliano is an associate who recently served as assistant attorney general in the Washington Attorney General's office. He represented the Department of Labor & Industries through litigation and advice including covered employment status under the Industrial Insurance Act, workplace safety standards and enforcement, and employer audits for industrial insurance assessments. He also represented the Department of Social & Health Services. During his tenure he won numerous jury trials. He received his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law and his Bachelors of Arts & Sciences from Gonzaga.
