SearchYourCloud Appoints CTO and Opens New Atlanta Office

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SearchYourCloud today announces the opening of its office in Atlanta, GA.  The new location will house the engineering and support arm of the company and will focus on next-generation product development of SearchYourCloud's search and security application.  The new office is indicative of the recent growth SearchYourCloud has experienced in the US.  The office will be led by the company's newly appointed Chief Technology Officer, Ken Hawkins.

The company plans to have more than 30 US employees by the first half of 2014 as it continues to develop and market its flagship product, SearchYourCloud.  Marketing and sales will continue to be housed in the US headquarters in San Francisco, CA. The company expects to add staff in both locations.

Ken brings a deep history of Internet entrepreneurialism with experience as CTO of Payz and director of technology of Broadjam.com. Ken has previously held technology leadership positions at Amazon, where he tied in AOL's shopping experience with amazon.com processes and delivery systems.  Ken served as chief architect of Instant Service, the first interactive customer service portal on the internet which subsequently became Oracle's Live Agent.

SearchYourCloud delivers secure and fast search across various clouds and is now free for individual users. The application runs on multiple platforms including iOS, Android, Box, Dropbox and Google Drive.  SYC's patented Improved Search Engine delivers full-text search by leveraging Boolean and semantic search technologies.  SearchYourCloud provides more accurate search results than native search engines results by retrieving outcomes based on overall relevance to the query and keywords.
